Large sheltered aft deck

The Yacht has a comfortable saloon but the main feature is the large open aft deck, perfect for viewing, with smart seating and a substantial awning giving shelter from both sun and rain when required.

Join us at St.Katherine’s pier by Tower Bridge for a cruise down the river and through the Thames Barrier to the shooting area at Thamesmead.

All perfectly legal!

It seems improbable that we can use 12 gauge shotguns and other weapons, including a blunderbuss, to shoot biodegradable clay pigeons in London, but this is all perfectly legal!

The expert instructor will help you improve your performance, add a little competition to the proceedings and give a fascinating account of the various weapons brought along for you to use.

Private chef

The chef will serve delicious hot food prepared on the Yacht. Enjoy a range of canapés and then a selection of hot main courses made easy to eat by being served in individual Japanese style bowls!

The River Thames Clay Shoot may be run as a half or full day event with the last shot always an hour before dusk.

A piece of history

This beautiful 85’ Motor Yacht, former flagship of the Port of London Authority, was used to carry the coffin of Sir Winston Churchill during his state funeral in 1965 – the last state funeral to take place in the UK. She is now gleaming following annual winter refits and constant year round meticulous maintenance.

Please note this event requires at least 30 days notice in order to secure the shooting licence for the date chosen.
