Enjoy the Solent

Ribs provide the best way to see everything the Solent has to offer, for every taste, from the picturesque National Trust owned Newtown Creek to the thriving centre of world yachting in Cowes.

Enjoy famous Solent landmarks such as the Needles, historic forts dotted around the Solent, quaint ports like Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight and major sights such as the naval dockyards in Portsmouth – home port of the new Royal Naval flagship, the HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier.

Pace is our watchword

Pace is our watchword. We keep days moving along with a fast paced schedule; everybody will be truly exhausted by the end of the day. Best of all though, the day will be judged an unqualified success!

We are always respectful of the prevailing sea state and weather conditions - safety is uppermost in our minds, but we have not forgotten that our clients are partial to some fun! For multiple Rib events we often get asked to run a 'slower boat' that can be used for more nervous guests which we are happy to do. Do note however that in 99% of instances this boat's occupants end up wanting to overtake the rest of the fleet!

Perfect for events

Ribs are the perfect platform for watching major events; arrive on the course quickly and move around ahead of the fleet to each mark. Once you have seen enough, zoom from the course to Yarmouth or Cowes for a delicious lunch. Excellent for rewarding staff or entertaining clients.

Hope for poor weather!

Although you may have blue skies and sunshine in mind, the weather to hope for is a low pressure system. An unsettled sea state and wind will make the conditions more exciting and provide a real edge to the day. High quality breathable oilskins are available to hire.
