Get ready for an event like you’ve never seen before.
Little Britain Challenge Cup (LBCC), the sailing regatta for the construction industry and related trades has been given a total ‘facelift’ for 2017.
New prices – There has been complete pricing overhaul, so it’s better value than ever to enter.
There’s more variety – The racing itself for this year’s LBCC will be run be the Island Sailing Club, the organisers of the world’s largest sailing event – Round the Island Race. They will create a bespoke racing schedule to suit all classes.
There’s a change of scenery – A new location just up the river at Shepards Wharf Marina. The marina has its own dedicated event centre, the Sugar Store, where they can host new festival-style onshore events and it’s only a short hop to Cowes town centre.
LBCC turns 30 – There’ll be a huge 30th birthday bash for starters and a food extravaganza each night. Since the regatta celebrates a birthday, the charities supported by LBCC will also want a birthday present. What better present than to raise more than ever for the great charities they support by entering a boat for your company?
Anything staying the same? – Yes! the regatta will remain one of the most fun sailing events in the corporate sailing calendar and will always be a great place to network and spend quality time with existing customers and suppliers.
Solent Events offer ‘turn key’ packages to enter the regatta and will provide the right yacht to suit your team, sort all the race entry and social tickets and can even source your shore-side accommodation given our unrivaled knowledge of the area. We also offer spectating packages for single or multiple days on sailing yachts, luxury power boats or our fleet of high speed Ribs.
