Cowes for lunch?

If you’re in Cowes, or just passing through, make sure you don’t miss these fantastic places to eat!

Aptly named, this new restaurant is run by a young, enthusiastic team who produce superb food. For fresh, delicious dishes you can’t go wrong on their menu, from tapas-style sharing platters to their Gastronomy Burger- fast becoming famous in its own right… Everything is freshly prepared in the kitchen using locally sourced ingredients where possible – try their Asian Glazed Tofu Bao or Rib Eye Steak with Salsa Verde !

Backing onto the world famous marina, Tiffin’s is a sure fire hit for breakfast and lunch, whether you’re sailing or spectating. Choose from a huge variety of baguettes, sandwiches, cakes, shakes and daily specials, then either sit in the bustling little seating area or take it away, just find a spare bench and watch the world go by.

The Folly Inn

The Folly Inn is a rustic pub perched on the banks of the River Medina, just south of Cowes in Whippingham, which was refurbished mid 2013. History has it that The Folly originated from a barge that ran aground whilst selling illegal liquor in the 1700s…

Food can be chosen from a main menu or specials board with a good selection of wines to complement your experience. This quiet looking pub perks up in the evenings though when the live music starts and everyone starts dancing on the tables!
