Pippa has an interesting story; she is modest about her own achievements but speaks engagingly about the importance of the team effort.
Sailing is one of the UK's strongest Olympic sports, supported by a significant infrastructure and management effort. It is really interesting to have an insight into this ultimate definition of a results based business!
Pippa will join us on the yacht. There is room for guests to relax in comfort, and there will be ample opportunity to spend time with Pippa even if we are sailing several boats.
This yacht club is steeped in Olympic history, it is thought to be the only sporting club in the world to have had a member compete in all but one Olympic Games since its foundation. The club claims many medallists including Sir Ben Ainsley, the world’s most successful Olympic sailor and skipper of the British Amercia’s Cup challenger.
We will have breakfast on arrival in the Yacht club before cruising out to the beautiful western Solent and the Needles or east towards Cowes, depending on the wind and tide.
Lunch will be served on board , and farewell drinks will be at the Yacht Club once back ashore later in the afternoon.
The Yachts have a capacity of 12 guests each, so for larger groups we will sail more Yachts accordingly. Pippa will move between the yachts by Rib.
This event is subject to the availability of Pippa, if your date is set in stone then we have a bank of other illustrious sailors from the Olympics and America’s Cup.
